Global Enterprises Need to Scale Their Networks-Here's How

By Ken Briodagh

Commercial globalization is a fact, and one that Enterprises need to be ready to capitalize upon. It’s even more critical now with the advent of enterprise 5G infrastructure, which is forcing companies to be global and nimble at the same time.

The 5G enterprise market is expected to grow from $2.1 billion in 2021 to $10.9 billion by 2027, according to a recent Market&Markets report. Industry 4.0 is a key driver of the growing investment in and development of smart infrastructure and the delivery of differentiated 5G services using network slicing techniques and more, the report says.

With all that in mind, it’s now possible to take advantage of all the benefits of 5G infrastructure at scale to address enterprise networking challenges through switching to spectrum-based wireless solutions. 5G technologies like CBRS can address interference, security, latency and speed across any distance, and enable real time applications and networks that can be built and operated with full visibility into Quality of Service and Quality of Experience.

Scaling networks with global enterprise business operations requires advanced routing and resiliency. Platforms that offer scalable Enterprise 5G enablement allow companies to work with Hyperscalers, service providers, system integrators, solution developers, OEMs and others in a partner ecosystem. This kind of interoperability and connectivity reduces expenses by avoiding cabling infrastructure, and improves all networking operations.

A quality 5G for Enterprise solutions platform provider uses 5G-ready cellular radios to connect distributed edge devices, and work hand-in-glove with multi-cloud environments while being simple for IT and OT teams to manage.

One example can be seen in the complex, distributed and global challenge of Asset tracking. 5G enterprise network solutions are being used by logistics companies to track, monitor, and manage valuable assets in motion. These Enterprises use 5G networks at scale to optimize storage, closely coordinate pick-up routes, and support a variety of sensors in the most challenging environments.

Are you scaling your business along with your networks? Shouldn’t you get started?
